The collection consists of a broadside advertising prices for exotic fruits and nuts sold by Daniel Melia & Co., Clements St., Leamington; a pamphlet cataloging the Indian condiments sold by Charles Stembridge & Co., The Oriental Depot, 33 Leicester Square, London; an anti-French political broadside; a page from the St. James' Chronicle reprinting a letter discussing anti-Catholic sentiments and the Reform of 1832; aned a broadside presenting an appeal for the unemployed, with a manuscript "Proposal for a Society for Improving the Condition of the Working Classes by the Publication of Essays to be Written Exclusively by Working Men and Labourers". The proposal was written by Charles Tomlinson.
