Scope and content:

Annual reports issued by the Yolo County Department of Agriculture. Gives the number of acres planted to each crop, the production in tons for each crop and the gross farm value of each crop. Also includes statistics on apiary, dairy, poultry and livestock production and gross farm value. Each also includes one page of general County statistics such as population, tax rate, acres under cultivation, rangeland acres, irrigated acres, etc. Also includes figures for USDA payments to farmers for agricultural stabilization.

The Clerk-Recorder's main function is keeping the records for the County. The importance of this department lies in the historical stability that is maintained by the preservation of records of civil activities.
