Scope and content:

Collection consists of scripts, clippings, and tapes from the career of American television and film writer Robert Enders. Materials include scripts for The Best of the Post (1960-1961), and materials associated with Bowden productions' Princess and the Goblin (1993) narrated by Glenda Jackson.

Biographical / historical:

Robert Enders (1919-2007) was an American television and film writer, director, and producer known for The Best of the Post (1960-1961), Voices (1973), and Stevie (1978). Enders began his career advertising and directing radio programing, he then formed his own production company in the 1950s, Robert J. Enders Productions Inc. Enders later became a partner in actress Glenda Jackson's production company, Bowden Productions. He went on to teach as an adjunct faculty member at USC's School of Cinematic Arts for 14 years.
