Abstract:
The collection consists of television scripts from Seasons 1-5 of the Canadian-American science fiction television series, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda (2000-2005), also known as Andromeda, which was based on unused material from screenwriter Gene Roddenberry. The collection also includes a script of an unaired episode from Season Two. The majority of the scripts are rough drafts and written before their air date.

Scope and content:

The collection contains television scripts from Seasons 1-5 of the science-fiction series, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, including a script for an unaired episode in Season Two.

Biographical / historical:

Eugene (Gene) Wesley Roddenberry was born in El Paso, Texas on August 19, 1921; he passed away on October 24, 1991 in Santa Monica, California. Roddenberry was recognized for creating the original Star Trek television series.

Andromeda is a Canadian/American science fiction television series developed by Robert Hewitt Wolfe and produced by Majel Barrett (Roddenberry's widow). The series ran for five seasons from October 2, 2000 to May 13, 2005. The series was based on Roddenberry's unused notes that he left behind after his passing. The series is set in the far distant future, where spaceships travel between galaxies through "slipstreams." Captain Dylan Hunt and his crew navigate the warship, Andromeda, throughout the universe to restore peace and civilization.
