- Material in this collection includes reproductions and descriptions of artwork from different periods and cultures around the world. Reproductions focus primarily on western paintings, but also includes textiles, tapestries, stained glass, ceramics, as well as architectural and sculptural objects. This collection was gifted by UCLA History professor Albert Hoxie.

This collection consists of circa 50,000 art reproductions focusing primarily on western paintings, but also includes textiles, tapestries, stained glass, ceramics, as well as architectural and sculptural objects. Includes descriptions, artists, and dates for each reproduction.

Albert Hoxie was a History and Art History professor at UCLA for over 35 years. He was a collector and an aficionado of art and architectural from all periods around the world.

This collection used to belong to the UCLA Arts Library, but was transferred to UCLA Library Special Collections when all of the special collections were merged into one department.
