Photographs (approximately 6 x 18.5 cm) are mounted to rectos of leaves of heavy black paper, three to a page; captions in faded white ink below some of the photographs. A single photograph (12 x 17.5 cm) of unidentified houses at water's edge of a river or bay is laid in, stamped on verso with photographer's name: "Photographed by B.W. Merrill, Boston, Mass."

Bound in limp red suede covers, laced together with red suede leather ties; tooled illustration on upper cover of a poinsettia flower and title "Photos."
