This collection includes 269 gelatin silver photographs by Brett Weston taken between 1927-1989. Box 7 is a portfolio of 10 portraits by Brett of his father Edward Weston and the Weston family. Except for the portraits, all the photographs depict nature and abstractions of nature and architecture.
- Acquisition information:
- Photographs in boxes 1-7 were a gift of Christian Keesee of the Brett Weston Archive. Photographs in box 8 were either purchased from the Henderson Gallery in Monterey or from a gift by Paul Schranz.
