- Biographical / historical:

Francisco J. Dominguez is a Sacramento-based photographer, artist, and art educator. His photography and art is centered around topics such as the Chicano/a Movement, human or civil rights, Indigenous Peoples, farmworkers, and many others. Dominguez attended UC Davis and began writing for the Third World Forum Newspaper as a student. Dominguez works primarily with infrared-sensitive film and black-and-white photography and he creates original posters by incorporating his photographs with other design elements and text.
