Catalogs, order forms, booklists, clippings, press releases, receipts, newsletters, and correspondence documenting the business activity, circa 1971-1990, of Elysian Fields, Booksellers, a largely mail-order gay and lesbian bookseller based in Elmhurst, New York. Operated by George Fisher, also known as Ed Drucker, Elysian Fields specialized in out-of-print gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual literature. The bulk of the collection is composed of mail order booklists and catalogs; also of interest is domestic and international correspondence from customers. A substantial portion of correspondence documents business between Fisher and Jim Kepner, who purchased publications from Elysian Fields and also helped Fisher search for publications sought by customers.

Elysian Fields, Booksellers was a largely mail-order bookseller based in Elmhurst, New York, 1972-1990. Operated by George Fisher, also known as Ed Drucker, Elysian Fields specialized in out-of-print gay, lesbian, and bisexual literature. Fisher died in 1990.

Acquisition information:
George Fisher donated funds and materials upon his passing to the International Gay and Lesbian Archives in 1991.
