Scope and content:

Photographs, photograph albums, scrapbook albums, ephemera, and correspondence of David Baker, one of the writers of the collaborative gay play "Crimes Against Nature." Ephemera, scrapbooks and photographs include those specific to the cast and reviews of the play. Extensive newspaper clippings on the play and performances. Other items include numerous family photographs, programs and playbills for other plays [with both gay and straight themes], extensive correspondence with father, cards and postcards, ephemera, and information on his AIDS regimen and alternative therapies. The correspondence and photographs trace David Baker's relationship with his father from his childhood, through college, and his subsequent diagnosis with AIDS. Journals have dated entries.
