Erich Pommer (1889-1966) was a German film producer and executive. This collection contains materials from 1913-1956 which includes project files for various produced and unproduced films, exhibition materials (Munich Exhibition), scripts, appointment books, stills of negatives, tapes, and project files with materials related to Pommer's work with the Motion Picture Branch of the U.S. Military from 1946-1952.

Erich Pommer (1886-1966) began producing films in Germany and Austria in 1913 and moved to Hollywood in 1926 to work with Paramount and MGM. Pommer returned to Germany in 1927 to continue producing films, and in 1933 fled Germany and worked for various production companies throughout Europe and United States. Some notable films that Pommer produced are Metropolis (1927), The Blue Angel (1930), and Dance, Girl, Dance (1940). After returning to Germany in 1946, Pommer began working with the United Stated Military to rebuild Germany's film industry.
