Organizational records of the Paramount Library of Popular Music (Oakland, Calif.) contain inter-office memos, correspondence, invoices, budget and financial files. Contains performance logs, photocopies of sheet music, song books, a small amount of photographs, and a portrait of violinist Theodore Spiering.

The Paramount Library of Popular Music (Oakland, Calif.) is one of the largest libraries of popular and light-classical music in the country, with a total of approximately 100,000 entries dating from the 1850s to 1980. The major source of early music is the Walter J. Rudolph Library collected by Rudolph during his fifty years as a vaudeville orchestra leader in San Francisco.

Original folders for the bulk of the collection were retained; student worker replaced a portion of the original folders. Some of the replaced folders were labeled (probably sourced from the original folder) while others were not labeled. No significant condition issues found.
