The collection contains episode production files from five seasons of The Dick Van Dyke Show. Production files may contain scripts, synopsis, list of credits, music cue sheets, and sometimes rerun payment schedules and publicity photos, and other materials. Not all items may be included for every episode.

Biographical / historical:

The Dick Van Dyke Show was an American sitcom that centered on the work and home life of television comedy writer Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke), the head writer for the fictitious variety show The Alan Brady Show in New York, who lived in suburban New Rochelle, New York with USO dancer turned housewife Laura Petrie (Mary Tyler Moore) and their young son Ritchie (Larry Mathews).

The series portrayed daily life and comedic scenarios that Rob Petrie found himself in the middle of with his family, his colleagues, his neighbors, and his friends.
