Encyclopédie, ou dictionnaire raisonné des sciences, des arts et des métiers (Encyclopaedia, or a Systematic Dictionary of the Sciences, Arts, and Crafts) is an encyclopedia published in France between 1751-1772 and edited by Denis Diderot. Robert Benard (1734-1777) was a French engraver who engraved more than 1800 plates for Diderot's Encyclopédie.
