This collection, 1982-1994, includes color photographs by professional photographer Drew Faber. Subjects include gay pride and related events in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, male physique contests Supermen 85, Supermen-86, and Mr. Executive Suite, and photographs of men in parks and other areas in California. There is one photograph of RuPaul on a float as Grand Marshall of the Long Beach Pride Parade.

Scope and content:

The Drew Faber photographs collection consists of color photographs of Long Beach Pride, Los Angeles Pride, as well as the Supermen-85, Supermen-86, and Mr. Executive Suite male physique contests. Also included are color photographs of men at parks and other areas in California.

Drew Faber was a professional photographer of male physique contests, pride events, and weddings who lived in Long Beach, California during the 1980s.

The photographs were tranferred from Faber's photograph albums to binder boxes. Collection processed by Richard P. Hulser, 2019.
