Biographical / historical:

Charles Goodwin Frankish was the eldest son of Ontario pioneer Charles Frankish. Charles Goodwin was born in Toronto and moved to Ontario with his parents as a small boy. He attended Chaffey College and became one of the first electricians in the area. In the early 1900’s, he moved to San Jose and began courting Miss M. Adele Serio, a music teacher from San Jose. Charles Goodwin then returned to Ontario to work as an electrician, and eventually sent for and married Adele in 1913. Charles Goodwin soon became self-employed as an electrical contractor, but was forced to retire at a fairly young age due to failing health. He died in 1925 at the age of 48. Adele Frankish continued to live in Ontario until the her death in January 1969. The couple did not have any children.
