This collection contains the papers of American film and television actor Cesar Romero (1907-1994). Materials include 31 scrapbooks of clippings documenting Romero's career; 21 envelopes of stills, clippings, correspondence, periodicals, and programs; and a number of books of 8x10 stills from films in which Romero appeared.

Biographical / historical:

Cesar Romero (1907-1994) was an American film, television, and radio actor whose career spanned from the 1920s up until his death in 1994. His wide range of roles included Latin lovers, historical figures, comedic characters, and his best known role as The Joker on the television program Batman (1966-1968).
