Abstract:

Contains a copy of the final report of the participation of the Farm Security Administration in the evacuation program of the Wartime Civil Control Administration, Civil Affairs Division, Western Defense Command and Fourth Army, [in military area no. 1], 1942 March 15-May 31. With this, a copy of the supplemental report ... in military area no. 2, 1942 June 1-Aug. 8. Both relate to the agricultural phase of the Japanese evacuation.

Also includes a copy of the progress report and procedures manual for the Mexican Farm Labor Transportation Program, with miscellaneous forms and documents relating to the Mexican Farm Labor Program, 1942-1943, which was instituted in response to farm labor shortages in California.
