Abstract:
Portions of account books for the estates of Bocas and Illescas. Contains: 1) José Miguel de Ávila's "Libro Vorador de esta Hazienda de Bocas, perteneciente al S.r D.r D.n Fra.co Espinosa, y Navarixo ... October 1, 1765-" (75 p.). These are accounts kept by the steward Ávila for the Hacienda de Bocas, primarily a sheep ranch, originally the property of Francisco Espinosa, one of Ávila's employers. And 2) two statements of accounts for the estate and farm of Illescas, drawn up by José Miguel de Ávila and Antonio Marín de Santa Cruz (4 p.), stewards, respectively, from September 23, 1766, to October 15, 1767, and from September 14, 1766, to an unspecified date in 1767
