Note:
Hilton F. Lusk was born in New York on April 12, 1902, and subsequently moved to California.He became Assistant Professor
of Engineering at the College of the Pacific in Stockton, and there developed a curriculum in Aeronautics in the spring of
1928. To do so he obtained both private and transport pilot's licenses. In 1929 Lusk became the Dean of the Boeing School
of Aeronautics at Oakland Municipal Airport, and in 1931 became director of the Sacramento Junior College Technical Institute
of Aeronautics. During his career he authored numerous reports and articles on the technical aspects of aviation. Lusk died
in Sacramento on November 11, 1975.
