Photo album of U. S. Army Corporal Edward T. Stewart, Jr., depicting his military career at the Stockton Ordinance Depot and
Wake Forest and Duke Universities. The album contains 370 photographs and 110 pieces of ephemera, many of which depict his
trips around California and to Indiana and New York.

Note:
Edward T. Stewart, Jr. (1911-1991) was born in Seattle and enlisted in the U.S. Army on October 17, 1942. He spent a year
in Stockton, California working in the Finance Office of the Stockton Ordinance Depot, and from about December 1943 to January
1944 received further training from Wake Forest and Duke Universities in North Carolina, after which he returned to Stockton.
Attaining the rank or corporal, Stewart returned to Seattle after discharge.
