Description
Collection includes biographical material; faculty correspondence at Berkeley, 1938-1941;
programs of choral concerts conducted by Mr. Lawton between 1939 and 1965; and his choral
compositions and music for voice.
Background
Lawton, Edward Bosworth, Jr. was born in Newport, Rhode Island, August 30, 1911. He died
in Berkeley, February 21, 1967.
