Four original watercolors by Louis Choris executed during the Otto von Kotzebue expedition to the South Pacific in 1815-1816 (the expedition visited San Francisco in 1816). Included are the earliest known views of the Presidio, Indians dancing at Mission Dolores, and Indians in war dance costumes.
