Description
Duarte is a small unincorporated town of some 2000 people located sixteen miles east-northeast of downtown Los Angeles, California. In the 1950s, its main industries were citrus fruit and avocado packing and poultry. The collection consists of 5 volumes of manuscript and typescript minutes of the Chamber of Commerce meetings in Duarte, and minutes of the Committee for Community Service.
