Biographical / historical:

Eden Wadsworth came to California in 1848 by ship. He was a draftsman and steam engineer and worked on river boats between Sacramento and San Francisco. He worked as an engineer at the State Capitol from 1871 through 1895. He died in Sacramento on December 24, 1891.
