Creeley (Robert) papers, 1950-2005

Series 2: Manuscripts By Creeley

Identifier:
Archival Resource Key
Scope and content:

This series contains the typed and handwritten manuscript poems, prose, books, notes, and essays written by Creeley from his student days through 1996. Manuscripts by Creeley have been arranged chronologically and chronicle the development of his body of work . Folder titles represent the working titles of the documents and indicate roughly whether these documents are works of poetry or prose. Occasionally, there will be multiple copies of particular works, or copies representing the progression of the work from draft to typescript to galley to final printed version. Rather than lumping these works together, we have maintained the larger chronological framework.
