Biographical / historical:

Mentor Etnyre was an engineering geologist and prospector. He promoted mining ventures in the western United States. He managed mining operations at the Plumas-Eureka Mine near Johnsville, Plumas County, California for a short time in the mid 1930s and held mining claims in the adjoining Jamison Creek area.
