This collection contains the manuscript and published scores of film composer Paul A. Marquardt.
Background
Paul Marquardt was born on 13 January 1889 in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany as Paul Alfred Marquardt. Over the course of
his career as a film music composer, he worked on some of MGM's most famous films, such as The Wizard of Oz (1939), A Day
at the Races (1937) and Rio Rita (1942). He died on October 30, 1960 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
