The Native Daughters of the Golden West was established to preserve historic landmarks
and lore. Ivy Parlor No. 88 (Lodi, Calif.) was founded (1896) through efforts of Joaquin
Parlor No. 5 (Stockton, Calif.).
The library can only claim physical ownership of the collection. Users are responsible
for satisfying any claimants of literary property.
