Gifts of Prof. Benjamin H. Lehman and of his estate and heirs, February 20, 1964 -August 1, 1977. Previous accessions formerly
shelved under BANC MSS 67/45c, BANC MSS 69/147c, and BANC MSS 79/57c, have been consolidated in the collection described in
this guide.
Scope and Content
The Benjamin H. Lehman papers consist primarily of correspondence with his many friends and associates. Principal correspondents

Benson, Faith Berry, Bertrand Harris Bronson, Robert Chrisman, Bertrand Evans, George and Lucy Hand, Fred Orin Harris, James David Hart, Walter Morris Hart, William Justema, Arthur Luce Klein, David Littlejohn, Josephine Miles, Marvin Mudrick, Ariel Parkinson, Marion Randall Parsons, Constance Mayfield Rourke, Mark Schorer, Sister Mary Madeleva, Dorothy Bendon Van Ghent, Marie de L.
