    Note on the Collection

    The Papers of Robert T. Stevens were donated to the Archives by Mr. Stevens in July, 1993. They consist of correspondence, memoranda, reports, technical notes and drawings relating to the Caltech rocket project during World War II. Included is some material on Project Camel, the atom bomb.
    A detailed account of Mr. Stevens's work on the rocket project is given in the interview conducted by Shirley Cohen with Mr. Stevens on July 1, 1993. The interview forms part of the Archives' oral history series.
