Collection contains photographs and scrapbooks documenting the effects of the 1971 earthquake on the Sylmar, California area. Photographs include Olive View Hospital, Foothill Medical Center and Nursing Home, Indian Hill Medical Center, Pacoima Lutheran Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, Veterans Hospital, Van Norman Dam, Jensen Filtration Plant, Sylmar Converter Station, Boys Market, Howard Johnson's, Holiday Inn, North Oaks Shopping Center, Panorama Towers, schools, and freeway and railroad damage.
