This silkscreen poster is based on the Mexican folk tale about La Llorona, the "Weeping Woman." The image is of a woman reaching out to the viewer with her right hand while her left hand is wrapped around a child, most likely her son. They are both standing near the base of a body of water and surrounding them in the background are tree branches. Towards the bottom of the painting are three large tear drops representing the tears she wept after losing her children. The colors used in the painting are various shades of blue, green, yellow and purple. The artist signed and dated this poster on the lower right hand corner.
