Announcement poster for "Artists' Tour of Nicaragua 1984. Friends of Nicaraguan Culture." Image of a map of Nicaragua and the surrounding territories on a blue background that resembles a torn out shape. Nicaragua's land is mapped with the names of San Francisco Bay Area streets on a salmon color background. In the upper right corner of the print, there is a torn-out piece of note-pad yellow paper with the following typed text: "For us, the struggle for sovereignty is the struggle to preserve peace. Our role as intellectuals in this struggle cannot be other than that of any human being whose heart beats in his people's hands. Rosario Murillo 1982." Signed, Inscription in pencil below image area reads: "ED/100, Jos, 83"
