On the right hand side of the print, purple lettering reads: "1848 / Califas / was lost / to the gavas / porque oro / tenían sus venas / y vida / su cuerpo sensual / y Guadalupe / lost Hidalgo / and bears / walked onto flags / aquí / empezó al Chicano- / manifest destinyed."
