    1821, Dec. 23. Born in Ireland, son of William and Hannah Ramsey.
    1846, Oct. 26. Emigrated from Belfast to Calais, Maine.
    N.D. Prepared for ministry and legal profession. No actual record of his education by place, schools or college/universities.
    1852, Nov. 8. Became a Master Mason per Diploma.
    1859, Sept. 18. Married to Elise Amélie Toulon.
    1861, Jan. 22. Was issued a Certificate of Naturalization.
    1866, Sept. 28. Birth of son, Marathon Montrose Ramsey.
    1892. Published with G.P. Putman's Sons the book The English Language and English Grammar.
    1897 (?) Died.
