Richard M. Bohart (1913-2007) served as Professor of Entomology at the University of California, Davis from 1946 to 1979.
His Papers contain biographial materials, writings, research materials, and correspondence with researchers, growers, and
museums regarding the control of mosquitoes and other pests, loans and identifications of specimens, publications, and other
topics.

Richard Mitchell Bohart was born in Palo Alto, California on September 28, 1913. He received a B.S. in Entomology and Parasitology
(1934), M.S. in Entomology (1935), and PhD in Entomology (1938) from the University of California, Berkeley.
