Description
The Bill Regan Photograph Collection documents San Jose State University (SJSU) from 1937 to 1953. The images chronicle a variety of campus events, sports, students, staff and faculty members. The collection consists of photographs and negatives.
Background
William Hugh Regan most commonly known as Bill Regan graduated from San Jose State College in 1940 with an A.B in Journalism. He graduated with honorary distinction and departmental honors in the field of Journalism. He was involved in Tau Delta Phi, a men's honorary society, and Nu Iota Chi, a Journalism society. He worked for the Spartan Daily as a copy editor.
