Description
Ernest Mitchell Pratt (1876-1945) was a commercial photographer and California pictorialist. The collection consists of approximately 500 photographs by Pratt, and works by Viroque Baker.
Background
Pratt was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 24, 1876; was a commercial photographer and California pictorialist; shared a studio with Viroque Baker in Olvera Street, Los Angeles, California (ca. 1929-32); died in Los Angeles, August 23, 1945.
