This collection of photographs consist of 2 postcards, 5 small photographic prints related to Sigurd Hagen. 26 photographic prints are primarily of the Wilson Brothers fleet of steam schooners at Rotten Row, Oakland Creek, California in the 1950s.
Note: Thirteen related documents consisting of checks, discharge papers, and other ephemera, that were part of the initial accession were transferred to Sigurd Hagen Personal Papers (HDC 1282).

Historical Note
The OREGON, IDAHO and SVEA were the three vessels of the Wilson Brothers & Co. fleet. OREGOA and IDAHO were both built by the Aberdeen Shipbuilding Company in 1916 in Aberdeen, WA. SVEA was built in 1906 in Fairhaven CA. They were among the last of the active wooden steam schooners and were the last to remain intact in California waters. They were laid up in Oakland Creek in the 1930s, but were not dismantled until late in 1950. - Acquisition information:

The items were donated to the San Francisco Maritime Museum by Paul E. Hagen, of Oakland, CA, on March 17, 1960. Hagen presumably took the photos before the ships were dismantled in 1950.
