    Abstract: Evert Jan Volkersz (1936- ) worked in the UCLA Library Department of Special Collections (1963-69), and in 1969, became the Head of Special Collections of the State University of New York, Stony Brook Library. The collection consists of files relating to Volkersz' professional concerns in various associations at UCLA, including unions and the Librarians' Association of the University of California.

    Biography

    Evert Jan Volkersz was born on October 18, 1936 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; BA (1958) and MLS (1963), University of Washington; worked in the UCLA Library Department of Special Collections, 1963-69, and in 1969 became the Head of Special Collections of the State University of New York, Stony Brook Library.

    Scope and Content

    Collection consists of files relating to Volkersz' professional concerns in various associations at UCLA, including unions and the Librarians' Association of the University of California.
