Description
Primarily research materials about Donaldina Cameron, including some original materials and interviews. Martin's papers include manuscripts, correspondence, cassette tapes, and photographs.
Background
American writer, known particularly for her book CHINATOWN'S ANGRY ANGEL, the story of Donaldina Cameron's early years fighting the yellow slave trade. Cameron House, a community services agency serving the Chinese in San Francisco, was named for Donaldina Cameron, and the agency she founded, Ming Quong, survives in the South Bay.
