Background

Scope and content:

Collection consists of office files, miscellaneous publications, clippings, newspapers and periodicals, and a nearly complete run of the semi-weekly union paper, Union Voice, for 1950-54. Files include minutes of the general executive board and the administrative committee, financial records, and include materials on the CIO, contracts, government agencies, insurance, local unions, publicity, salaries, strikes, and the union constitution.
