Scope and Contents note

Contains letters and telegrams to and from Walker after his return from deployment in Italy in 1944 and mostly consists of correspondence from his tenure as commander of the Texas National Guard and Director of Military Training with Army Service Forces. The correspondence maintains the original order of the creator and is arranged into personal and professional correspondence.
