Acquisition Information
The Constance Wofsy Papers were transferred to Archives & Special Collections from San Francisco General Hospital in 1998.
Biography
Wofsy received her bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in Bacteriology in 1964. She received her masters degree from UC Berkeley
in Bacteriology/Immunology in 1966. She received her medical degree from the University of Southern California in 1971.
Scope and Content of Collection
This collection covers the period 1980 to 1991, and documents various aspects of Constance Wofsy's career as a physician,
researcher, and leader in the fight against
AIDS
.
