Colonel Sidney L. Huff (1893-1962) was born in New York State. Upon the commencement of World War II, Colonel Huff was commissioned as a Lt. Colonel in the US Army and assigned as an aide-de-camp to General MacArthur. Colonel Huff saw active service with General MacArthur at Bataan, Corregidor, and throughout the entire Far East during World War II. He also served with General MacArthur during the occupation of Japan and during the Korean Conflict until MacArthur's dismissal in 1951. Colonel Huff retired from the US Army in 1955, and with Joe Alex Morris, wrote My fifteen years with General MacArthur (1964) describing his years of service with MacArthur from 1936 to 1951.
