Scope and Content Note

This series includes correspondence/memos, press information, leaflets, outlines of J.P. Stevens' labor violation history and summaries of current and planned activities, actions and events prepared by committee staff and clippings, articles and newsletters collected from a variety of sources. One of the signatories of the Statements of Support (1/13) is Cesar Chavez, President of the United Farm Workers Union of America.
