Biography
Renata Vanni was born in Naples, Italy ca. 1909. She started her career in Italian theater and on Italian radio in New York.
She went under contract to Warner Bros (1940) where she became known as a comedic actress. Her numerous screen roles include
Westward the Women,
Seven Little Foys,
Once is Not Enough,
Three Coins in the Fountain,
Patch of Blue,
The Idol Maker, and
Fatso. She also appeared on major television shows such as
Lux Video Theater,
Alcoa Presents,
Gunsmoke,
Loveboat,
Mod Squad, and
That Girl. She died Feb. 19, 2004 at the age of 94.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of film, televison and stage scripts related to the career of actress Renata Vanni. Among the film scripts
are
Venetian Affair and Jacqueline Susann's
Once Is Not Enough. The television scripts include The
Rockford Files and
That Girl! among others.
