Papers of Eugene V. Rostow, a former Under Secretary of State, a founding member of the CPD, and the Chairman of its Executive Committee. He was on leave from the CPD from 1981 to 1983 while serving as President Ronald Reagan's Director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency but remained in communication and resumed an active role in the CPD after leaving government office
