Abstract:: The Miscellaneous Journals and Manuscripts Collection contains two business journals that document the F. Kuchenbeiser's Works, a San Jose foundry company, a Portuguese Fraternal Benefit Society, a newspaper clippings journal documenting World War I as well as miscellaneous manuscripts related to the Civil War, and the sheet music for a popular World War II song titled, " Send a Great Big Salami to your Boy Friend in the Army," published in 1943.
